Biography

Thi My Lien Nguyen (*1995) is a Swiss-Vietnamese visual artist and photographer, based in Switzerland. Her artistic and image-making practice, often using ethnographic methods, deals with the feeling and understanding of belonging and the sense of home, whereas she has a strong interest in post-migrant and diasporic realities. While questioning our way of living together and how we can create more inclusive spaces and therefore build more trust, she aims to create more understanding and representation between communities through inclusive and participatory methods. She graduated from Lucerne School of Art and Design in 2017 in Camera Arts and works as a freelancer photographer, visual storyteller and artist.
