Biography

Alfio Tommasini is a photographer from the mountains of Southern Switzerland. He’s interested in the relation, adaptation and transformation that people have with the territory where they live. He studied photography in Madrid, Spain and is now based in Ticino, Switzerland. His award-winning work has been exhibited and published internationally. The book of his recent project Via Lactea will be launched in Fall 2020 by Edition Patrick Frey. He is also the co-founder and art director of the Verzasca Foto Festival.
